This year's first outing celebrated spring, despite a muddy field and frequent showers.
Nevertheless, a massive donation of uncut timber was systematically turned into over a hundred feet of firewood for future shelter use.
A special thanks to Sam Belling for the tractor work. There were two power splitters a number of chain saws, hatchets, axes, wedges, malls and elbows, and even a break in the weather to make the job a bit easier. A couple of the ladies pitched in for the stacking job too.
So, this month's outing report honors both the outng hosts and the woodcutting/stacking team.
Sherie also brought in boxes of the club history albums and many browsed through them. If you haven't had the chance, spend some time trecking down the club's memory lane... It's a kick of a trip..
