Our sympathies to Kathy and the family and friends of Sam Josephson and to Peggy and the family and friends of Jim Brooks. We’ll miss you guys.
Campers, we start 2011 with two great outings:
Saturday, January 15th, the 2nd Annual Aviator Lane Card Party, hosted by Ed and Sandy Hall (360-830-3051). Chicken, mac salad, pop and coffee will be provided. Please RSVP to the above phone number with your dessert, salad, bread or appetizer potluck choice and for directions. (BYOB) The games will start at noon with dinner about 2 and the 2nd round of games at 3.
Sunday, February 6th, Valentine Brunch at Clearwater Casino, hosted by Gary and Sherie Lewis (360-692-6505). Brunch will begin at 9:30. The price will be $14.95 per person plus tip.
March 23rd to 27th will be the first campout of the year at the Home Park. As the date this was written, we have no hosts for this outing. If you are interested, call Sandy Hall. Otherwise, the outing will be no-hosts.
In addition to March, our 2011 outings are: April 13th to 17th – Port Townsend Elks – hosted by The Gertsch and Lillybridges. May 11th to 15th – Land Yacht Harbor at Lacey (to include finalizing 2011 NW Elks Rally plans) – no hosts. June 22nd to 26th – Glen Ayr at Hoodsport – no hosts.
July 20th to 24th –NW Elks Rally at Land Yacht Harbor (the rally hosted by 1181) – no hosts. August 3rd to 7th – American Sunset at Westport – hosts by Lorene Brannan, Joyce Cordova and the Watsons. September 14th to 18th – Midway at Centralia. Hosted by the Arns and Blankenships.
Ostober 19th to 23rd – Rest-a-While at Hoodsport. Hosted by the 2011 Officers. Monday, November 14th – Thanksgiving dinner meeting at the Lodge – no hosts. Friday, December 9th – Christmas party at the Lodge – no hosts.
A special of belated thanks to the 2010 officers and committee members for all the hard work they did for the club. Most officers were reelected, but we do have three major changes: Sherie Lewis is president; Stephanie Schmittler, vice president; and The Halls and Dan Grasser (360-830-3974), wagonmasters.
Cathy Higdon (360-830-3974) will return to membership chair. Call her for dues payment or membership information. Prospective members are always welcome as guests at outings or meetings.
