TRAVEL 'N FUN COLUMN
Our sympathies to the family and friends of Dan Ireland, a charter member, who recently passed.
The February Valentine Brunch will return to Christa Shores, Silverdale, on Sunday, February 18 from 10 am to 12 noon. The cost will be $8.50 per person payable in advance or at the next general meeting. The Blankenships are hosting.
March’s outing at the Bremerton Elks RV Park March 15 to 18 will be hosted by Ann Smith. April is tentatively planned for Toppenish April 19 to 22 at the Yakama Nation RV Park, but may change.
We need hosts for May 17 to 20 at Airstream RV in Olympia, August 16 to 19 at Tower Rook in Randle, and November 12 Thanksgiving dinner at the Sons of Norway. The remaining outings with hosts are June 21 to 24 NW Elks Rally and Walla Walla Fairgrounds, July 26 to 29 at Hoquiam RV Park, September 6 to 9 at the America Heritage Park Bluegrass Festival in Olympia, October 18 to 21 Officer’s Outing at Rest-a-While, and December 7 Christmas Dinner at the Lodge.
Darrell Schmittler has finished the 2007 swing set. Raffle tickets will be available for sell in May with the drawing at the 1181 Family Picnic. Travel N Fun has donated $500 to the Lodge Raise the Roof Committee.
The next general meeting is at the Lodge, April 12 – greeting at 6 or earlier, the meeting at 7.
